Love Ephraim?? What's not to love? Little, teeny village nestled on the wide stretch of the bay. It seems that there is always a sailing demonstration underway in Eagle Harbor. Certainly so during the weekends. Without a doubt during Fyr Bal weekend. Alas, the evening rains kept us from returning for the traditional bonfire lighting this year. I'll just have to squeeze my eyes tight and remember last year's ring of fire encircling the entire harbor. The afternoon was indeed picture postcard perfect. We enjoyed our first corn roast of the season. Seriously loved the artisans lining the water way. Color perfect sunset last night. Sail boats a plenty for Fyr Bal. We're really back. Oh happy day!! P.S. Remember, 'Ephraim' is the Moravian word for 'Faith.'
